Thank you for your interest in our product.
To add a watermark while rendering a document, you need to create a Watermark object and assign it to HtmlViewOptions. By default, the watermark should be applied to every rendered page.

The jar package of groupdocs-viewer we are currently using is version 19.8.1, which lacks the function of watermark tiling during preview.
At least upgrading to version 20.7 is required to enable the watermark tiling function during preview.
I would like to ask if upgrading requires repurchasing the license？

Based on our assumptions, your license should continue to work and should not require renewal. However, we will only be able to provide a precise answer after verifying it on our side.
Please send the license file to developers@groupdocs.com, and only after reviewing it will we be able to provide you with an accurate response.
Additionally, we recommend upgrading to the latest version of GroupDocs.Viewer for Java 26.5 and requesting a temporary license in advance to test the product with full functionality enabled (in case there are any issues with your current license).
