Attachments with EML and MSG files

Hi,

We have been using the PHP API viewer for the previous 4 years and previously had a requirement for users to be able to download or view an attachment within an uploaded email, without opening the file within etc. Outlook

This feature was listed as being “on the roadmap” for release at the end of 2013, but from looking at the current documentation cannot see a way to enable viewing of attachments. Currently files are opened within a separate browser window e.g. https://eu-apps.groupdocs.com/document-viewer/Embed/GUID, but only the plain text version of an email is displayed with no way to access the embedded attachments.

Was this feature ever released and if so how is it enabled

Thank you for the request. If I understand you correctly you use our EU server. The feature you are looking for is implemented on our main serve https://apps.groupdocs.com and as for the EU I will check it with our Product team for when they can update it.

Yes that is correct we use the EU server, our account is under the name TDS (username alan@tds.gb.com) if that helps.
