Bug in displaying conversion

Our process is to:

  1. Upload file
  2. Run conversion
  3. Download converted file
  4. delete files

Under the conversion page, all we see are blank lines with status=completed and the date. It would be nice if at least some metadata was kept regarding the filename, etc.

We are sorry to hear that you have such issue. Yes, we reproduced it and created a bug ticket (PLATFORM-284).

We will resolve it soon - we will add feature which will automatically set file name as a conversion name if you doesn't set conversion name manually.

We will keep you updated with the results.

I see that some improvements have been made to this (thanks!).

What would really help us for accounting is to have the full path and filename - currently we’re seeing something like:


f_greek_symbols… (docx to pdf)

To check full name of the input file you can just click on the conversion entry and you will be able to see this name.

Doesn’t work - the detail page is completely empty when the file is deleted.

Yes, you are right, this detail page is empty after input file deletion, but it's current feature of the service for now. Could you please specify step by step what you want to see on this page? We will discuss these requirements with our Product team and maybe this will be implemented in next releases.

I think just having the full filename (with path) and the conversion details (doc->pdf, etc) would be sufficient for our needs. Not sure there’s much else?

Status of the conversion would be good as well - if there were any errors.
