Compare documents by setting DetailLevel in .NET

Hello,

I’m hoping someone can give more details on how a comparison is different based on the DetailLevel setting. (Now DetalisationLevel???) DetalisationLevel | GroupDocs.Comparison for .NET API Reference

I understand the difference between comparing words vs characters, and only High appears to be case sensitive, but we’d noticed that High also detected differences in invisible characters. For example, High detected a difference in page break type while Low did not. That’s fine, but we’d just like more details on what the different levels do and do not check.

thanks,

-Kirk

@kpearsonviatech,

We are investigating this and we’ll share complete details on this with you. Your investigation ticket ID is COMPARISONNET-2027.

@kpearsonviatech,

On detail setting low API does not detect symbol changes in words. It detects only word changes, if the word is entirely different, not different by one or several symbols.
