We recently upgraded GroupDocs.Conversion for .NET from version 23.1.0.0 to 26.9.0.0 to address ADA compliance requirements for our Excel-to-PDF conversion process.
We updated our conversion code to generate PDF/UA-1 compliant documents using the following configuration:
{
PdfOptions = new PdfOptions
{
PdfFormat = PdfFormats.PdfUA_1,
DocumentInfo = new PdfDocumentInfo
{
Title = QuoteName
}
}
};
After this change, the generated PDF shows improvements in accessibility compliance.
However, we have observed some unexpected content loss in the converted PDF.
Issues observed:
Header information is missing from the generated PDF.
Page numbers are missing.
URLs that were previously clickable are no longer clickable.
Could anyone please clarify the following?
Are there any additional settings required to preserve headers, page numbers, and clickable hyperlinks while
generating PDF/UA-1 compliant PDFs?
Are there any known issues or limitations in version 26.9.0.0 related to Excel-to-PDF conversion using PDF/UA-1?
Could anyone provide a recommended configuration or code sample to ensure PDF accessibility compliance without losing
existing content, formatting, or hyperlink functionality?
