Display Problem in Excel Documents Opened with Freeze Pane Feature (GroupDocs Viewer)

Dear GroupDocs Support Team,

We are currently encountering an issue related to the display of Excel files with the “Freeze Top Row” feature when opened via GroupDocs Viewer.

When an Excel document with the “Freeze Top Row” functionality is uploaded to our Document Management (DM) system and then opened using GroupDocs Viewer, the freeze pane behavior does not function as expected. The header row scrolls with the content instead of staying fixed.

To verify the issue, we also tested outside the application context by opening the file directly through GroupDocs Viewer on a local environment — the problem persists.

Please find the following attached:

  • Screenshots of the GroupDocs versions currently in use

  • Screenshot of the observed issue

  • Is this a known limitation or behavior in the current version of GroupDocs Viewer?

  • Can support for freeze panes be enabled or configured?

  • If not currently supported, could this be considered as a feature request or planned enhancement?

We would appreciate your insight and guidance on this matter so we can plan our actions accordingly.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Hello,

My question is about the GroupDocs viewer, not the Aspose Viewer. I’d like some support on this.

Thank you.

@kenankocer

I’m sorry for the misleading response provided by the bot. I have removed it to avoid confusion.

Unfortunately, this feature is not supported neither in direct conversion from Excel to HTML and in the UI. We’ll analyze this feature in context of VIEWERNET-5440 issue.
