Fail to render the excel file

I tested VB sample program with attached xls file with function call below
ViewGenerator.RenderDocumentAsImages(“C:\a.xls”)
the app hungs in followng function call
Dim Images As List(Of PageImage) = imageHandler.GetPages(guid, options)

I found the root cause that I need set options before render xls file.
