Our application is being upgraded to java EE9 ( with migration from javax namespace to jakarta namespace ). Current comparison java library ( 25.2 version ) is still not jakarta ready ( java EE9 supported ). Please provide a jakarta ready version of the conversion java library so that it would be compatible with our application. Please note, we have already bought the subscription and using this product since more than 6+ months now. Expecting the support on priority. Kindly help.
Can you please specify the exact features or functionalities you are looking for in the Jakarta ready version of the GroupDocs comparison library?
We are using this library to compare 2 docs documents. We want the functionalities to be working as it is but the library should be jakarta ready library so that it would be compatible with our application which is running on java EE9.

Hi @atir.tahir, could you please provide any updates on this, when can we expect the jar to be available?
Hi @sarfraz.ahmad
Can you please check if this version will suit you?
you can use command line as follow
java -cp “libs/*;org.eclipse.transformer.cli-1.0.0.jar” org.eclipse.transformer.cli.JakartaTransformerCLI groupdocs-comparison-25.2.jar groupdocs-comparison-25.2-jakarta.jar
Hi Yuriy,
Thank you for your suggestions. I understand that we can use the Eclipse Transformer to transform the JAR. However, I am specifically looking for the official JAR that already includes Jakarta support so that I can directly upgrade to the newer version.
My concern is that using a manually self-transformed JAR would require a lot of approvals to be used in an enterprise application like the one I am working on. It would be extremely helpful if you could provide an officially released version of the JAR with Jakarta support.
Thank you for your assistance.
We will include JAR release with Jakarta support as part of our deployment to the repository so you will be able just download it the same way as our default release.
It will be ready this week - I will update you wen ready
Thank you!
