Can you provide me with a sample multi-threading java code, because I tried multiple time to execute the code but I got an error behind some of the files aren’t convert to pdf.

Please check the attached file , my main method comes under the maven package.

Also I attached with the application the logs that I got more than one time please check them.

We have tested your code and seems it is works for us with our test files. We tried to convert .pdf , .doc and .jpg documents with your code and all works well. We think that the issue can depend from your files that you try to convert to .pdf format.

Could you please share with us files that you tried to convert from these storage folders .

Hello,

Yes , we have tested your files and we have managed to reproduce some issues :

First issue that we got is "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space" - we just increased our JVM parameters to -Xms1024m -Xmx1024m and then the issue doesn't occurred anymore. It is common issue if use multi-threading and if you see the issue too you can also investigate this article for how to avoid the issue.

Next issue that we got is "com.groupdocs.conversion.exception.InternalException: Can't convert to html!" and the issue has strange character . It occurs only if convert .pptx files with multi-threading. So we need more time for investigation the issue. When we will have any news, then you will be notified.

related to the first issue which you mentioned it before ; i didn’t face this issue as I modify the heap size he xms , and xmx

the issue what am asking about referring to the second issue multi-threading conversion for .pptx files. I’m waiting to hear your feedback after the investigation.

Our product team was informed about the issue and we created a ticket in our system (CONVERSIONJAVA-142). We have linked this forum thread to the same issue. Because, at the moment our product team works on the new generation of the GroupDocs.Conversion library, then the issue should be fixed in it. We will notify you here once this issue is resolved.
