We use Java API for conversion in a web service. When the web service runs 3 concurrent conversions, each converting a 3MB Excel document to TIFF, it gets OutOfMemoryError. We use JVM configuration: -Xms8192m -Xmx8192m
-XX:MaxPermSize=256m.

Thank you for you inquiry.
The process of conversion itself is resource-intensive and some documents can have also some graphics or images in itself , which can hamper the conversion process more and may require additional system resources for conversion. We will do all the best to improve our library . We have logged this problem(improvement) in our issue tracking system as CONVERSIONJAVA-100 . But will be useful if you share with us your file examples and we will test them and our Product team will try to find a solution for this issue.
