'preloadPagesCount' behaviour in the latest release

Hi Groupdocs team,


Please clarify if the parameter ‘preloadPagesCount: X’ load X pages before and X pages after the current page or it loads X pages initially and all the pages together after this

You have selected Java platform for this thread. Could you please confirm you are talking about some release of GroupDocs.Viewer for Java?

Thank you for your request.

Yes, you are right the preloadPagesCount parameter will load X pages initially and all other pages together after this . Also, this method loads, processes and caches a specified number of pages and thus rendering will be faster.

Hello,

Unfortunately such behavior doesn't possible with the current version of the library. But at the moment our Product team works on the new generation of the library and this feature will be available in it.

The new generation of the GroupDocs.Viewer for Java library should be released very soon.
