Problem converting Hebrew html to Tiff

We are using the .Net version. v18.10

We hand the dll an html file containing Hebrew and it ignores that. You just get garbled English. It’s a regular 8-bit file and uses the David font everywhere. Is there anything we need to configure or are there known issues?

Thanks for your help.

Attached the customer’s file. It works in IE and Word among others although highly suboptimal. We can’t automate IE9+ or any Word past 2013.

Please have a look at these files.zip (50.5 KB). Let us know if the output is the expected one.

No those aren’t. Those are English versions of the characters. The problem seems to be that the original HTML is not UTF-8, and the only thing that seems to imply Hebrew is the “Font-Face:David”. The problem we have is that IE and Word both recognize it as Hebrew and display the apropriate characters.

Here is how it looks in Edge.

One additional tidbit. We are setting the locale and the 32-bit usage to Hebrew in the system.
