Dear GroupDocs Customers
We are pleased to announce the release of GroupDocs.Redaction for .NET v26.5. This release focuses on improving package delivery, expanding compatibility with modern .NET platforms, and optimizing HTML document processing.
Key New Features
- TFM-Split NuGet Packaging β Introduced a more advanced NuGet package delivery model that reduces package size by downloading only the binaries required for the target platform.
- Support for .NET 8 and .NET 10 β Added compatibility with the latest modern .NET frameworks.
- Improved HTML processing β Optimized HTML page processing to provide better compatibility and usability.
Improved NuGet Packaging
GroupDocs.Redaction now uses TFM-Split NuGet Packaging to improve deployment efficiency across different environments.
Previously, a single NuGet package contained binaries for all supported platforms. Starting with v26.5, only the components matching the userβs target framework are downloaded during installation. This significantly reduces package size and improves dependency management.
Modern .NET Platform Support
This release adds support for modern .NET 8 and .NET 10 frameworks, enabling developers to build applications using the latest Microsoft technologies and runtime improvements.
At the same time, support for .NET Standard 2.1 has been discontinued as part of the transition to newer .NET platforms.
HTML Processing Enhancements
HTML document processing has been optimized to provide better compatibility and more reliable handling of HTML-based documents across supported environments.
