Hi everyone,
GroupDocs.Signature for Python via .NET version 26.10 is now available on PyPI.
Full release notes: GroupDocs.Signature for Python via .NET 26.10 Release Notes
PyPI: groupdocs-signature-net==26.10.0
Docs: GroupDocs.Signature for Python via .NET
Highlights
- Python functions can be used directly for page and signature preview callbacks via
PreviewOptions. - Plain Python objects can implement
ILogger,IDataEncryption, andICustomSignHash. - Full support for Python 3.14 without code changes.
- Engine upgraded to v26.9 and embedded .NET runtime updated to 10.0.12.
- 18 members renamed to match .NET spelling (e.g.,
z_orderโzorder,x_ad_es_typeโxad_es_type). - Specific exceptions (
GroupDocsSignatureException,IncorrectPasswordException,PasswordRequiredException) replace genericRuntimeError. - Assigning an undefined attribute now raises
AttributeError. - Platform tags updated to
manylinux_2_27andmacosx_12_0_*; 32โbit Windows wheel removed.
Breaking changes (see release notes for migration details):
- Renamed members require code updates (e.g.,
options.z_orderโoptions.zorder). - Attribute assignments that target nonโexistent members raise
AttributeErrorinstead of being ignored. - Engine errors now raise
GroupDocsSignatureException,IncorrectPasswordException, orPasswordRequiredExceptionrather thanRuntimeError. - The 32โbit Windows wheel is no longer provided; pip 20.3 or newer is required.
Install:
pip install groupdocs-signature-net==26.10.0
As always, feedback and bug reports are welcome in this category.
