GroupDocs.Viewer for Python via .NET version 26.9 is now available on PyPI.

Highlights

  • Add WordsPageNumberLocation enum and WordProcessingOptions.page_number_location to stamp page numbers on rendered Word documents
  • Introduce horizontal_resolution and vertical_resolution options for PNG/JPEG output of Word documents (default 96 DPI, clamped to 72–600)
  • Render Microsoft Project files (MPP, MPT, MPX) on Linux and macOS using ProjectManagementOptions
  • Remove libgdiplus requirement on Linux and macOS—SkiaSharp and Aspose.Drawing are bundled
  • Ship the same API across all platforms, including FileType.MPP, PSD, AI, ONE, and ProjectManagementOptions
  • Restore full compatibility with Python 3.5–3.7 (fixes SyntaxError and AttributeError issues)
  • Update embedded .NET runtime to 10.0.12 and Viewer engine to 26.8

pip install groupdocs-viewer-net==26.9.0
