Some TIFF images in Word document replaced by Red X

Hi,

We are currently evaluating the group docs viewer and conversion SDK for java to convert a range of documents into PDF and HTML.

For word documents containing particular tiff images we notice that when using the java SDK (via a slightly modified version of the SDK sample java app), these images in the converted HTML and PDF files have been replaced by a large red X. Other images and some tiff files are fine, but some always turn into the red X during conversion. The tiffs open fine in Word and a drawing tool.

Please see the attached file for a sample document which has been converted from docx to pdf. I notice that if I view this file using the GroupDocs Viewer, it displays fine. It only seems to exhibit this issue if run through the Conversion SDK, and this happens whether converting to HTML or PDF.

Thank you for your help,

Hello Stephen,

We have tested the Word file and have managed to reproduce the same issue at our side with GroupDocs.Conversion for Java library 1.2.0 version. But we have good news for you , this issue was resolved in our next version of this library, that will be released on next week.

Please, follow our releases.
