Trouble opening certain files and formats

Hello Support Team,

We are currently testing Group Docs in the .java Version on our Cloud Service. Unfortunally, we have a lot of files not opening (error in the middle of the operation) or just giving a blank Page. There are some files that are very common an very important for our operation, like dwg, xls, png, jpg, eml, jpeg, doc, zip, rar,…
I have prepared a Excel list (second tab) with the full list of file formats not working, incuding the files and the filesize. Can you pls have a look into it and give us some advice why we have this trange behavior? All filetypes mentioned should work as per your documentation.

Thank you for your quick reply.

We have now also rechecked most of these files with your docker image (Docker) and got almost the same outcome.

We started this docker image as described in your github page (https://github.com/groupdocs-viewer/GroupDocs.Viewer-for-Java/tree/master/Demos/Dropwizard#docker-image):

docker run -p 8080:8080 --env application.hostAddress=localhost groupdocs/viewer

For example the 3MB Jpeg file JPG_Image3Mb.jpg took ~5min to render. (also we recognized that here the print function just exports a gray rectangular: Print_jpeg.jpg (117.4 KB))

The SVG (“SVG_big_sample.svg”) is still rendering…

The FloorPlan.dwg renders just a white page…
Also this DWG with just 2 circles renders only a white page: Zeichnung1.zip (25.9 KB)

Also we see in the docker logs that the file extension is required? Is this really correct? (tried to upload file without extension in the filename…)

I guess there is something major wrong with the Libary, otherwise there wouldn’t be a 10 day investigation period. Can you please give me any updates? Anthing we can do to get the libary back on track?

Hello.
I have checked all provided files. Problems with 19 of them were reproduced.
2 of all problems were fixed in GroupDocs.Viewer, so the fix will be available with the next release.
Problems with 4 other files will be fixed later.
Problems with other 13 files are fixed in sample applications.
The samples are already published to Docker Hub and release section of GitHub as v23.2.1.
