Updating index takes time

Isnt Updating index means to only update the index of modified / deleted / created files? Then why it takes the same time as indexing all files. Can’t it detect the files which are already indexed and not modified?

Please share following details and we’ll look into this issue:

  • Sample code
  • Exact time that it takes for re-indexing
  • Sample documents (Does it take time when indexing a group/lot of documents or show same behavior when indexing 2-3 documents)
  • API version that you are using (e.g. 20.10, 21.1)

It’d be great if you share a sample application (along-with the documents folder) using that issue could be reproduced.
