I recently signed up for an account to test this service. I noticed that the documents I uploaded are publicly available after I uploaded them. Is there any way to secure these files so that they can not be seen publically other than to put a password on every file?

Thank you for your inquiry.
If you use our GroupDocs.Cloud service for viewing your documents on your web site and added the embedded code with GroupDocs.Viewer for Cloud on a web page, then all customers that have access to the page can view the documents. So you should implement your own logic to restrict the access for this web page.
Also our service provides some configurations for the restrict of the view(disabling print , download e.t.c) . All these parameters can be configured here.
