Is there a way to integrate your visualizer component in a vb5 project?

I am afraid that GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET does not support Visual Basic 5.0. Please note that GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET supports .NET Framework 2.0 or higher, therefore, it is compatible only with the versions of Visual Basic that support .NET Framework 2.0 or higher.

Furthermore, the API does not provide any built-in UI component for viewing documents. Instead, it is a backend API that allows you to render the documents in the form of HTML pages or images. For more details, please visit the API’s home page.
