What is the difference between MSI Installer and DLLs

I am trying to download trial version and am not sure what the difference is between the MSI Installer and just the zip file of DLLs. Why would you choose one over the other?

Thanks for taking interest in GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET.

The ZIP file contains only the GroupDocs.Viewer for .NET assemblies which are the same as in the MSI installer of the product of the same version. However, there may be case when you may have to use GroupDocs.Viewer without the MSI installer, i.e. you cannot run MSI installers on Mono. In this case, ZIP will work for you.
